About the Role

The Data Scientist will be a pivotal member of the Enterprise Data and Analytics Team, responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytics and AI models. This role involves building robust data models and leveraging a suite of Microsoft and other AI and data technologies to ensure data solutions are accessible and usable across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop models to support AI and automation use cases across Meridian.
• Develop GenAI and LLM models with direction from senior team members.
• Work closely with data engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Analyze large and complex, structured and unstructured data.
• Prepare AI-ready data models.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data science models.
• Conduct peer reviews of AI and other predictive models.
• Research, code, develop, and implement advanced analytics and AI models.
• Research and stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and AI technologies.
• Ensure AI models have proper documentation and model transparency.
• Ensure AI models adhere to responsible AI framework.
• Collaborate with data analysts, senior data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand and deliver on data requirements.
• Help define AI and automation use cases and requirements.
• Assess the technical feasibility of AI and automation use cases.

Requirements

• Experience with machine learning frameworks and data mining techniques.
• Proficiency in a software programming language, e.g., Python.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in data science and Microsoft technologies.
