About the Role

This role supports marketing projects and event programs to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and achieve company goals. You will coordinate event logistics, manage promotional merchandise, handle vendor communications, and support administrative tasks for seamless project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and coordination of corporate events, industry conferences, sponsorship activations and internal events.
  • Support Moneris’ charitable partners through the coordination of corporate volunteer days, in-kind gifting, and sponsorship activations.
  • Support event logistics including venue selection, registration management, vendor coordination, shipping and on-site set-up.
  • Coordinate production of event materials such as signage, booth collateral and presentations.
  • Help maintain event calendars, tasks lists and timelines, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Support onsite event execution, including managing registration desks, troubleshooting and coordinating staff.
  • Manage orders of branded promotional items for events, sponsorships and other programs, working with approved vendors to source, quote, order and track merchandise, ensuring delivery and quality control.
  • Contribute to the marketing plan roadmap throughout the year.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in an event coordination, marketing support or administrative role.
  • Experience with CRM, event management tools, or inventory systems is an asset (e.g., Salesforce, Cvent, Eventbrite, PheedLoop).
  • Digital fluency (Basic).
  • Marketing data literacy (Basic).
  • Experience coordinating corporate or industry events.
  • Basic knowledge in the payment industry considered an asset.
