About the Role
The Digital Support Coordinator role involves problem-solving in the digital dental environment, providing immediate hardware and software support to customers. This position coordinates technical appointments and installation projects for Hi-Tech Equipment Service Technicians, compiles order paperwork, assists with work order processing, and arranges for hardware and software delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support in the preparation of appointments for the client and Digital Support Equipment Service Technicians (EST’s).
- Assist clients, Field Sales Consultants (FSCs), Equipment Sales Specialists (ESSs) and inside staff with any inquiries on Hi-Tech related items.
- Work through technical issues with non-technical clients.
- Schedule and dispatch service technicians to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs.
- Coordinate High-Tech equipment installation appointments, providing all necessary site information required, to ensure high productivity, and that timelines and customer satisfaction are achieved or exceeded.
- Respond, update and close follow-ups sent by each technician after an appointment.
- Perform first level investigation and data gathering to support critical cases.
- Act as the first point of contact for the High Tech team.
- Provide pricing support for quotes and hardware ordering.
- Proactively research new problem-solving techniques and new technologies.
- Participate in special projects and perform other administrative duties as required.
- Meet company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis.
- Perform all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards.
- Adhere to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
Requirements
- Completion of a post-secondary program or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1-2 years of administrative support, scheduling and/or dispatch experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Excellent keyboarding skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Unpacking, lifting, moving and packing of products (up to 50lbs) may be required.
- Sitting and standing for long periods of time.
- Working with computer for long periods of time.
