About the Role

Oversee PMO operations, drive continuous improvement in project management processes, and lead a portfolio of strategic projects. Serve as the primary escalation point for PMO-related issues, ensuring project success and organizational effectiveness through strong leadership, operational discipline, and client focus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve PMO processes, procedures, and templates.
  • Manage projects from initiation through closure, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Target billable utilization of 40-50%.
  • Develop and optimize quarterly PS/PMO efficiency reports for senior leadership.
  • Assign incoming projects to team members and oversee project set-up in Business Central.
  • Proactively flag project risks and escalate yellow or red-status projects to leadership.
  • Support month-end project tracking, revenue recognition, and reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate and timely time tracking for project resources.
  • Support resource forecasting, including soft and hard bookings.
  • Serve as the first line of PMO escalation for project process adherence and client escalations.
  • Manage relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Translate strategic goals into detailed workplans.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive program management experience, preferably in a cybersecurity or managed services environment.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent required.
  • Degree in project management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Solid understanding of PMI project management best practices and methodologies.
  • Effective communication, in both oral and written formats.
  • Detail and results-oriented with a high willingness and motivation to learn.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize conflicting priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or leading a team.
  • Cybersecurity industry knowledge and/or experience is strongly preferred.
