About the Role

This role involves leading and executing audit engagements, including planning procedures, overseeing staff, reviewing complex transactions, preparing financial statements, conducting technical research, and ensuring high-quality client communication. The ideal candidate is an audit professional with strong client service, integrity, and leadership abilities, possessing a minimum of two years of public accounting experience. Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute audit procedures
  • Develop audit approaches for engagement teams
  • Oversee staff throughout engagements
  • Review complex transactions
  • Support high-quality engagement delivery
  • Discuss engagement efficiencies and client-specific risks
  • Lead, instruct, and oversee A&A staff
  • Prepare and/or review financial statements
  • Complete general audit procedures including coordination of closing communications, drafting correspondence, and resolving open items
  • Research technical issues using online tools
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel

Requirements

  • 2+ years of public accounting experience
  • Experience using Engagement is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Master’s preferred
  • CPA certified or eligibility to pursue certification
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Acquisition accounting experience is a plus
