About the Role

This role involves collaborating with training leadership and stakeholders to design and develop technical training content, frameworks, and curricula using blended learning approaches and adult learning principles. The Sr Technical Instructional Designer will deliver and facilitate learning experiences on proprietary software and technical concepts, assess employee skills, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert for internal Client Care teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop employee and client technical training content, frameworks, and curricula.
  • Deliver and facilitate learning experiences on proprietary software and technical concepts.
  • Assess employee skills using knowledge-based exams, practical simulations, and observations.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and contributor to internal Solventum HIS Client Care teams.
  • Participate in corporate programs and initiatives, complying with professional, quality, and security standards.
  • Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Instructional Design or a related field and three years of experience in Technical Instructional Design.
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of seven years of experience in Technical Instructional Design or education in lieu of a master’s degree.
  • Hands-on experience with complex systems such as Hospital IT systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) or IT systems administration/application support/implementation.
  • Legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

Skills

  • Ability to organize tasks and work independently in a multi-task environment.
  • Ability to communicate in written and verbal formats.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team setting.
  • Experience with health documentation and coding, medical CDI, Healthcare IT exposure, or software security & networking.
  • Experience with Solventum HIS products.
  • Experience facilitating instructor-led training.

Salary/Compensations

  • $107,600 - $147,950 (includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible)
