About the Role

As the Founding Partnerships Lead, you will build DeepIP's partner ecosystem from the ground up, directly reporting to the CEO. This newly created role involves full ownership of the partnership strategy, encompassing high-stakes alliances with major IP platforms, commercial technology integrations with revenue stakes, and prospective partnerships across the entire IP value chain. You will define the framework, prioritize ruthlessly, and establish partnerships as a structural competitive advantage for DeepIP.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full partnership strategy, including tier prioritization, resource allocation, and partnership-sourced ARR targets.
  • Define partnership requirements at each level to justify investment.
  • Design and negotiate commercial partnership structures (revenue share, co-sell splits, integration fees) with C-level counterparts.
  • Build the operational framework for post-signing partnerships, including QBR cadence, CRM tracking for partner-sourced deals, and an enablement playbook.
  • Proactively map the IP value chain, track emerging platforms, and manage partnership promotion from lightweight to active.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales on co-sell motions, Product on integration requirements, and Marketing on joint go-to-market strategies and co-branded content.
  • Contribute 10% of net new pipeline through partnership-sourced or influenced ARR within six months.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, alliances, or business development in SaaS or tech, with a proven track record of generating measurable ARR through partnerships.
  • Experience designing commercial partnership models and negotiating with CFO or CEO-level counterparts.
  • Demonstrated ability to build post-signing operational frameworks: QBR cadence, sourced-pipeline tracking, and enablement library.
  • Strong ecosystem thinking, including mapping multi-player landscapes and building tiered prioritization frameworks.
  • Highly cross-functional, with experience building effective co-sell motions and collaborating with Product on integration development.
  • Prior experience or strong understanding of the Intellectual Property sector is a strong plus.
  • AI-native mindset.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Additional languages are a plus.
