About the Role
Commercial Appliance is seeking technicians responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment at customer locations. This role involves performing preventative maintenance inspections and responding to emergency service calls on various equipment, including ovens, fryers, steamers, warmers, dish cleaning equipment, walk-ins, and ice machines.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Commercial Cooking, Refrigeration, HVAC, and Warewashing Equipment
- Treat customers and employees with respect, courtesy, and professionalism
- Provide excellent customer service by meeting customer expectations on every service call
- Complete service calls in a timely manner
- Increase customer base by providing solutions for equipment problems and promoting company programs
- Communicate effectively with customers, manager, dispatcher, and sales
- Participate in a rotation of after-hours and weekend on-call schedules
- Identify new customers and additional opportunities within existing accounts
- Maintain service vehicle
- Order parts and complete required paperwork
- Attend training sessions
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
- Previous experience in cooking, refrigeration, or HVAC equipment service (or related military experience)
- 100% dedication to working hard, being on time, and staying organized
- Maintain a good personal appearance
- Pass Drug Screen and Background Check
- Maintain a Valid Driver License with a good driving record
Skills
- Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills
- Extremely strong customer communication skills
Location

Experience Level
- Previous experience in cooking, refrigeration, or HVAC equipment service (or related military experience)
Education Level
- EPA Universal license
Salary/Compensations
