We have an exciting opportunity for a Practice Manager to join our respected Forensic Accounting & Commercial Damages (FACD) practice. This is critical role responsible for enabling the smooth operation of a high-performing team. Working closely with Practice Leadership, you will work in close partnership with key Support Functions, which include; Business Support, Business Development, Marketing, People, Recruitment, Legal and IT to ensure a consistent, efficient and coordinated approach to operations. Responsibilities

  • Act as the central link between Practice Leadership, Project Teams and Support Functions ensuring the effective day-to-day operations of the FACD practice, ensuring seamless support for Partners and senior leaders.
  • Action the team strategy and market group activities across areas such as; commercial litigation, intellectual property, family law, class actions, tax disputes and more, as the practice continues to expand.
  • Oversee resource planning by monitoring team availability, utilisation and project timelines to support effective allocation of work.
  • Coordinate expert teams, tracking project schedules, key milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
  • Work closely with Partners and Support Functions to manage enquiries, maintain monitor the pipeline and order book, as well as oversee Business Development activities, whilst providing accurate reporting via Microsoft Excel or Power BI.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to organise client-facing events including seminars, lunches, events, conferences and meetings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience working in a similar role in a professional services practice (legal, accounting, consulting or similar).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships across teams and regions.
  • A self-motivated, proactive mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (e.g. Teams, Excel, Power BI).
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines, projects or resources.
