About the Role
As part of the expanding Delivery function, you will support strategic change and mandatory initiatives. You will own backlog management, shape solutions through definition and design, and support high-quality releases across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements, prioritise initiatives, and resolve issues.
- Gather and document business requirements into sprint-ready user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Walkthrough user stories with business and technology teams.
- Support developers and testers through the sprint cycle to achieve goals.
- Ensure effective change management for process deployments.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior business analysts.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Delivery framework.
- Support Project Managers with sequencing, prioritisation, and effort estimation.
- Collaborate with technical resources on solution design during definition phases.
- Act as the primary interface between development, testing, and business stakeholders.
- Assist the test team in defining test plans and cases for application and business process testing.
- Ensure traceability from requirements to test cases and quality outcomes.
- Prepare stakeholder communications, deliver demos, and conduct training.
- Identify process improvements and contribute to business cases or lean canvases.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Wealth Management or Financial Services.
- Proven ability to work within a team structure and motivate others.
- Strong exposure to Wealth Advisory or Private Banking platforms.
- Experience in process mapping, user story development, and Agile frameworks.
- Resilient, methodical, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Experience with regulatory or compliance projects in a financial services environment.
