About the Role
As the Content and Digital Strategist, you will be the architect of how our artists live, breathe, and break out online. You will lead the development of bespoke Artist-Generated Content (AGC) plans and oversee nimble digital marketing campaigns that turn casual listeners into a dedicated fanbase. This is a hands-on role requiring deep understanding of local culture to interpret trends for each artist brand and drive engagement.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive content strategies aligning AGC with each domestic artist’s unique creative identity.
- Build and execute nimble digital marketing campaigns to increase exposure and hit ambitious growth targets.
- Cultivate deep, trust-based relationships with artists and managers, integrating into their creative circles.
- Lead the AGC creation process, concepting original ideas and partnering with videographers and editors.
- Analyze campaign performance and ROI, reporting on best-in-class strategies and cultural opportunities.
- Collaborate with the internal Discovery team to support fan-centric UGC plans and optimize artist channel engagement.
- Partner with the Creative Producer to integrate social-first content elements into traditional music video shoots and photo days.
Requirements
- At least 2+ years of experience in music marketing, creative project management, or digital/social campaign management.
- Deep understanding of current social media trends, short-form video, and the Australian music landscape.
- Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to build positive working relationships across diverse, fast-moving teams.
- Enjoyment of content concepting and editing, with a sharp eye for what performs well on social and DSP platforms.
- Passion for music and drive to see local artists achieve global recognition.
