About the Role
As the Workplace Operations Associate, you will be the backbone of our physical office environment in Chippendale, Sydney. This hands-on role ensures our workspace is safe, efficient, and well-maintained. You will be on the ground helping facilitate building operations, manage logistics, and provide crucial support to the team at our Chippo HQ.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office set-up, opening/closing procedures, and building access.
- Coordinate with cleaners and trades to ensure a safe, hygienic, and well-maintained workspace.
- Maintain workplace health and safety compliance.
- Manage levels and procurement for office, kitchen, and stationery supplies.
- Handle incoming mail and parcels, and assist with company merchandise stock management.
- Use JIRA to action and resolve workplace help desk requests quickly.
Requirements
- Strong background in customer service (retail, hospitality, or front-of-house).
- Proactive problem-solving ability to resolve issues quickly and minimise disruption in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented approach to creating a safe, functional, and well-organised office environment.
- Comfortable with operational work and enjoy being on your feet.
- Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and carrying boxes and supplies.
