About the Role

As a Contracting Area Manager, you will be responsible for the management and profitability of the supply and fix function, with a particular focus on Safety, Quality, Technical Compliance, and customer relationship development.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure HSE compliance & team leadership.
  • Attract new business to achieve budgeted financial outcomes and volume and revenue growth year on year.
  • Lead, induct, train and maintain an appropriately sized team of plastering and maintenance sub-contractors with a strong focus on industry leading standards of safety and quality on site.
  • Manage project expenditure, reviewing and processing all subcontractor claims and creditor invoices.
  • Ensure business compliance to relevant governance requirements.
  • Build high performing engaged team with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Full and Unrestricted Australian working rights – We do not offer visa sponsorship.
  • Valid Police Check.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Tertiary qualification in Building or Business, or Trade Qualification.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment medical.

Skills

  • Intermediate computer literacy including SAP and Excel.
  • Ability to work from the Camellia site full time.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.

Experience Level

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Building and Construction sector (preferably within a contracting environment)

  • Tertiary qualification in Building or Business, or Trade Qualification

Salary/Compensations

  • $120,000 - $135,000 base salary + super + incentive
