About the Role
The Business Development Manager owns revenue growth by developing and expanding high-value healthcare referral partnerships. This role is responsible for generating qualified client referrals, converting them into service agreements, and positioning the organization as the preferred nurse-managed home care provider.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a structured business development strategy aligned with quarterly targets.
- Build and manage a high-value referral pipeline targeting accounts with recurring potential.
- Generate qualified leads through strategic outreach and relationship cultivation.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to convert referrals into active clients.
- Monitor territory performance metrics and adjust outreach strategies to maximize revenue.
- Establish partnerships with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, retirement residences, and healthcare providers.
- Conduct high-value meetings, presentations, and educational sessions.
- Represent the organization at healthcare networking events and community initiatives.
- Identify new referral channels and monitor local market trends.
- Maintain social media presence and engage in community outreach.
- Contribute to quarterly and annual growth planning.
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation of all business development activity.
- Provide weekly pipeline and performance reporting.
- Track referral volume, conversion trends, and revenue impact.
- Maintain disciplined follow-up with referral partners.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience in business development.
- Demonstrated success in territory growth and revenue expansion.
