About the Role

Lead selected strategic, cross-functional innovation and maintenance initiative projects, such as new product development, packaging changes, new product claims, key process improvements, and visual brand upgrades, to drive delivery of business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop proficiency in delivering innovation projects.
  • Manage country-level launch details.

  • Apply PM best practices on projects and support overall business capability building.
  • Partner effectively with the Project Accountable Lead, providing confidence and competence to drive accountability.
  • Develop proficiency in driving resolution of team conflicts through skilled negotiation and diplomacy, elevating to accountable functional leaders as necessary.
  • Foster an environment of enthusiasm, accountability, and teamwork, and help reward and celebrate achievements.
  • Be accountable for building the project team (functions, people) upon project approval, partnering closely with cross-functional leadership.
  • Guide core teams to ensure timely decision making, effective stakeholder communication, adherence to applicable processes, contingency planning, and execution.
  • Be accountable for assuring a clear project scope and strategy, aligned resource needs, and comprehensive spend forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive timelines in the PPM system with cross-functional input and limited guidance, integrating key functional deliverables and local market launch activities, considering dependencies and resource requirements.
  • Facilitate functional area’s probability of success assessments in support of portfolio pipeline activities.
  • Develop proficiency in identifying issues and driving resolution with guidance, assuring comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation plans are in place for all projects.
  • Ensure significant changes to the aligned business case are communicated rapidly and efficiently to appropriate leadership via the existing change control process.
  • Assure accuracy of assigned projects’ content in the PPM system, working closely with data owners from the cross-functional project team.
  • Align and deliver all key project milestones to support appropriate metrics.
  • Co-drive gate readiness, partnering closely with the Project Accountable Lead and actioning any gate meeting outcomes with the broader project team.
  • Conduct lessons learned with project teams, document, and assure dissemination to the organization as best practice.
  • Co-develop, align, and track project budget, rapidly communicating variance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Marketing, Supply Chain, or R&D including Project Management in a consumer healthcare environment or related area (e.g., CPG, pharmaceutical, etc.).
