About the Role
The Senior Director, Service and Repair Delivery – APAC provides strategic and operational leadership for service delivery across the Asia Pacific region, ensuring best-in-class customer support, operational excellence, year-over-year P&L leverage and sustainable, profitable service growth. This leader will drive regional execution aligned with global Service & Repair strategy while building a high-performing organization that supports Medtronic’s mission and long-term growth in APAC.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the APAC Service & Repair delivery strategy aligned with customer, global, and regional business needs and priorities.
- Lead regional service delivery performance, ensuring strong results across safety, quality, service levels, costs and margin optimizations, revenue contribution, and organizational health.
- Strengthen the regional service operating model through clear governance, standardized processes, and consistent performance management.
- Advance service commercialization across APAC in partnership with Operating Units and commercial teams to expand service adoption and profitability.
- Contribute regional insights to global S&R strategy and support implementation of global tools, systems, and standards across APAC.
- Lead transformation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service capability, efficiency, and customer experience.
- Lead, develop, and mentor a diverse regional leadership team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous development across the APAC service organization.
- Build effective partnerships with internal stakeholders and represent the S&R organization with customers and external partners when needed.
- Travel approximately 20-30%
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including 10+ years of managerial experience; or an advanced degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior relevant experience including 10+ years of managerial experience.
- Ability to lead cross-functional organization in a multi-cultural matrix environment with teams located in multiple sub regions.
- Ability to build strong partnerships across the organization and influence strategy and decision making.
- Ability to build strong partnerships and represent S&R function with customers and external stakeholders (industry partners, regulators, other)
- Strategic thinking to develop and execute S&R strategies
