Responsibilities
- Assist IT Manager in managing IT service delivery goals, including continuous improvement, policy implementation, and end-user satisfaction.
- Provide end-user IT Support (Service Desk) for print services, infrastructure (network and telephony), user access, and maintenance of laptops and desktops.
- Update and maintain end-user devices, IT infrastructure, and AV equipment in the RC campus, ensuring serviceability, suitability for staff, proper utilization, and providing status reports to the IT Manager.
- Manage campus CCTV storage, ensuring data security and video retrieval for management review.
- Update and maintain inventory of IT equipment and infrastructure for the campus, ensuring proper utilization.
- Engage in routine planning, purchasing, and deploying IT and AV equipment for the RC campus and staff to achieve productivity goals.
- Manage all software licenses and hardware requisitions, including deployment, tech refresh, and condemnation.
- Maintain and administer end-user devices through Mobile Device Management and Mobile Application Management Software, enforcing device policies.
- Perform technical and application support for service users as needed.
- Schedule upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems to prevent downtime impacting staff and students.
- Conduct audits to enforce IT Policies in RC.
- Monitor and analyze infrastructure service utilization (e.g., Internet Bandwidth, Device utilization) for preventative action, reporting, and trend analysis.
- Monitor and review IT requests raised by users for monthly reporting to the IT Manager for trend analysis.
- Engage IT vendors and service providers to report, monitor, and resolve IT service disruptions.
- Support the IT Manager in implementing continuous service improvements by IT vendors and service providers.
- Plan and execute software and infrastructure projects in campuses with the IT Manager and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with system owners to review rolled-out solutions (process, device, policy, architecture improvements) for evaluation and Return on Investment.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify improvement areas and develop technology solutions within Rainbow Centre for increased productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Information Technology or other relevant information technology fields.
- Preferably 2 years of experience in the information technology sector with relevance to the role.
- Advanced knowledge of Computer hardware, software, network, telephony and AV systems including commonly used end user operating systems.
- Computer Network Administration for Wired and Wireless Networks & troubleshooting.
