About the Role
As a New Patient Advisor, you are the first live voice a prospective patient hears from Modern Thyroid Clinic. Your job is not to sell, but to listen, understand, and help each person determine if our practice is the right fit for their needs. This role requires empathy and discipline, making you a crucial first point of contact in changing lives.
Responsibilities
- Review each individual's background, stated goals, and health concerns before discovery calls.
- Answer questions accurately and set clear expectations without pressuring patients.
- Document outcomes and update the CRM pipeline after each call.
- Manage weekly reviews of prospective patients and proactively reach out when needed.
- Ensure no prospective patient falls through the cracks.
Requirements
- Strong consultative communication skills.
- Commitment to honesty and integrity in service.
- Discipline with systems and process, including CRM updates, documentation, and pipeline management.
- Ability to hold space for patients who have experienced medical gaslighting, making them feel safe and heard.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational habits and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (GHL or similar is a plus).
- Comfort with video conferencing tools (Zoom) and scheduling platforms (Acuity).
- Ability to manage a full calendar of appointments and follow-up tasks without dropping threads.
