About the Role
The Learning Experience – Columbus Circle is seeking a qualified educator to support children ages 3–5 in a structured classroom focused on kindergarten readiness, confidence, and early academic development. This role involves leading a classroom team and creating engaging, meaningful learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily preschool classroom instruction and activities.
- Support early literacy, math readiness, and social-emotional development.
- Create a structured and engaging classroom environment.
- Guide assistant teachers and maintain classroom consistency.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom progress.
- Ensure compliance with New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required.
- Prior preschool classroom leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practice.
- Meet NYC childcare licensing requirements.
