About the Role

Seeking a driven individual for a Wealth Management, Alternatives distribution role in the West Coast region. This sales professional will generate investment/alternatives sales to financial advisors across various wealth platforms, focusing on marketing Wellington’s public and private investment strategies. The role requires broad asset management expertise, understanding of wealth distribution, and an entrepreneurial, collaborative approach to prospecting, territory management, presentations, and investment reviews. Extensive travel to meet financial advisors in Northern California/Pacific Northwest is required, with participation in national and regional meetings. The Regional Director should ideally reside within the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Generate investment/alternatives sales to financial advisors across wire houses, independent and regional broker dealer, and other large wealth platforms
  • Market Wellington’s public and private investment strategies to new and existing clients
  • Actively participate in prospecting
  • Actively participate in territory management
  • Actively participate in finals presentations
  • Actively participate in investment reviews
  • Travel extensively to meet with Northern California/Pacific Northwestern financial advisors
  • Participate in national and regional focused meetings

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of demonstrated success in external sales with financial advisors and wire houses
  • Proven background in asset management and alternative investments
  • Expertise in managing a large territory, including optimizing time allocation to maximize sales
  • Series 7 license
  • Series 63 license

Salary/Compensations

  • USD 120,000 - 225,000 (base salary range)
  • Eligible for discretionary Corporate Bonus and/or Incentives
