About the Role

Support the credit union’s vision of being the community’s most loved financial institution and its mission to make people’s financial dreams come true. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a clear understanding of credit union products and services to confidently discuss financial needs and cross-sell appropriate solutions.
  • Process all teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, cashier's checks, and wire transfers.
  • Open and close accounts, understanding IRA rules and regulations.
  • Become cross-trained in all vault management.
  • Actively listen to member needs and offer appropriate solutions for financial challenges or goals using credit union loan and deposit products.
  • Refer complex problems to supervisors with recommendations.
  • Make decisions aligned with credit union core values, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop a working knowledge of credit union history, philosophy, organization, bylaws, policies, procedures, and software systems.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.
  • Attention to detail: perform tasks carefully, accurately, and in accordance with instructions.
  • Consistency of work quality and compliance with standards, requirements, and expectations.
  • Track numerical data and detailed organizational information.
  • Careful application of grammar, spelling, and punctuation rules.
