Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a clear understanding of credit union products and services to confidently discuss financial needs and cross-sell appropriate solutions.
- Process all teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, cashier's checks, and wire transfers.
- Open and close accounts, understanding IRA rules and regulations.
- Become cross-trained in all vault management.
- Actively listen to member needs and offer appropriate solutions for financial challenges or goals using credit union loan and deposit products.
- Refer complex problems to supervisors with recommendations.
- Make decisions aligned with credit union core values, policies, and procedures.
- Develop a working knowledge of credit union history, philosophy, organization, bylaws, policies, procedures, and software systems.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.
- Attention to detail: perform tasks carefully, accurately, and in accordance with instructions.
- Consistency of work quality and compliance with standards, requirements, and expectations.
- Track numerical data and detailed organizational information.
