About the Role
We are seeking a cybersecurity SOC service pre-sales solution architect. This role involves designing security solutions throughout the entire engagement lifecycle, from opportunity creation to contract closure and handover to the account delivery team, for both new and existing clients. The primary function is to provide expertise in security solutions and technologies, define professional service scopes, and support the sales team in delivering high-quality, technically sound proposals.
Responsibilities
- Explain DXC Technology's SOC services and strengths to clients and support sales activities.
- Propose DXC Technology's security products and services to clients, presenting optimal solutions that align with or enhance their security strategy and reduce risk.
- Technically drive enterprise-level security projects and design solutions that meet client security requirements.
- Develop technical solutions for clients by leveraging various industry products and technologies to understand client needs and requirements.
- Clarify security requirements based on client's current environment, challenges, and future plans.
- Construct optimal SOC solution narratives based on client challenges and deliver proposal presentations.
- Clarify value from both technical and business perspectives to support decision-making.
- Create high-quality client-facing documents and proposals.
- Provide accurate cost estimates for designed solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the technical community to maintain technical knowledge and accurately define project scope.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of pre-sales experience in SOC/infrastructure operations services and understanding of the Japanese market.
- Ability to consistently handle client environment/challenge interviews, SOC architecture design, and proposal creation.
- Capability to create estimates considering resources, licenses, and operational costs based on solution composition, and verify price validity.
- Proposal skills (logical structure, explanation, presentation) to support client decision-making.
- Technical knowledge of SIEM/XDR/SOAR and experience in SOC operation architecture design.
