Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on company vehicle types per policy.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Document vehicle repair and inspection information using maintenance software.
- Perform inventory and order parts and supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment per company standards.
Requirements
- Possess operational knowledge of diesel equipment and tools for troubleshooting and repairing gasoline and diesel truck equipment.
- Ability to accurately perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles.
- Ability to identify component failures, worn or damaged parts.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle systems.
- Ability to produce quality repairs.
- Ability to read and understand technical service manuals, repair orders, labels, and gauges.
- Possess a valid driver’s license (C or better).
- Meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations.
- Unrestricted ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, squat, lift (up to 50 lbs.), push, pull, climb, and lie on back in a horizontal position for prolonged periods.
- Ability to communicate verbally via telephone for ordering parts and supplies.
- Ability to hoist any size vehicle with a lift device using foot and arm pumping motion.
- Ability to work in a heated enclosed structure.
- Ability to work in an environment involving chemical handling, gasoline/diesel fumes, and intermittent high noise exposure.
- Meet DOT standards to achieve brake and annual inspection certifications.
- Possess basic hand tools.
- Successfully complete a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE).
- Ability to perform specific lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and repetitive coupling tasks as required by HPE.

Work Type
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday, 1pm – 9pm shift (slightly flexible)
- Minimum 40-hour work week

- $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
