About the Role
The Assistant Studio Manager (ASM) will support the Studio Manager and Head Coach in daily business operations, staff development, and promoting the #Morelife theme for members. This role involves participating in the operation and success of a fast-paced fitness studio, building relationships with members and the community to maintain and grow the member base, and providing a best-in-class customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Studio Manager and Sales team to enhance studio effectiveness and efficiency
- Maintain a safe and clean studio environment
- Conduct telephone inquiries, follow-up calls, and customer care calls
- Assist with client onboarding
- Ensure superior customer service
- Manage and participate in marketing events
- Motivate Sales Associate team to achieve membership sales goals
- Provide oversight of the sales team
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training studio staff
- Drive daily, weekly, and monthly membership goals
- Measure key performance sales indicators including package offerings, membership renewals, retail and concession sales, and workout traffic
Requirements
- Associate's degree and functional computer skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- 2 years of experience in a sales quota environment
- Interest in developing professional skills in sales, marketing, lead generation, social media, client retention, and business growth
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Desire to lead and motivate teams
- Flexibility to work retail hours (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
- Recommended participation in 1-2 OTF classes per week
- Ability to manage difficult customer and employee situations
- Attend all relevant OTF training programs
- 1 year of sales experience (preferred)
- 1 year of customer service experience (preferred)
