About the Role

This seasonal Bartender role, available from May 1, 2026, to October 7, 2026, is part of the Food & Beverage - Service Department at Discovery Land Company’s Hamptons locations: Dune Deck Beach Club in Westhampton Beach, New York, and The Hills in East Quogue, New York. The role contributes to creating the Discovery Land Company experience for members and employees. H-2B visa sponsorship is available for in-country extensions.

Responsibilities

Execute craft cocktails and present new ideas to management
Mix and serve drinks to patrons
Greet guests and members promptly, politely, and by name when possible
Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and storage areas
Execute cocktail recipes and follow recipes for syrups and house-made ingredients
Enter transactions into point-of-sale system and issue accurate checks
Display extensive knowledge of beverages and ingredients, including food pairing recommendations
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of wine and make recommendations from the club wine list
Respond to guest needs with a sense of urgency

Requirements

Twelve months of front-of-house experience in high-volume restaurants, resorts, or private clubs
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts over eight hours
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Ability to work indoors and outdoors
Ability to stand, walk, and move for over four hours
Ability to lift, carry, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push, and pull
Ability to lift and carry items greater than 50 pounds
Successful completion of an employer-paid background check
