About the Role

This role is for an EP Mapping Specialist at Medtronic, focusing on cardiac mapping and ablation solutions to treat abnormal heart rhythms. The specialist will provide technical expertise, collaborate with a diverse team, and directly impact global healthcare by improving patient outcomes through advanced medical technology. This remote position requires residing within the assigned territory and driving to multiple accounts.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on EP mapping and navigation systems and all CAS products.
Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters related to CAS products and procedures.
Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
Understand and support national, regional, and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals for all CAS products.
Develop and cultivate customer relationships to generate incremental business.
Partner with Account Manager, Regional Manager, and Area Directors to identify sales opportunities.
Collaborate with the local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and CA Solutions products.
Collaborate and communicate with regional sales and clinical teams.
Represent Medtronic CAS to physicians and support staff regarding products, service, and support.
Serve as a regional champion to share experience and promote proficiency in mapping technology.

Requirements

High school diploma with a minimum of 6 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
Associate degree with a minimum of 4 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with a minimum of four years’ work experience in cardiac field, hospital/clinic, or sales (preferred).
Proven track record with technical training assignments (preferred).
Experience in cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, hospital/clinic, or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support (preferred).
Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation.
Reside within the assigned territory and be available for unscheduled needs.
Ability to travel outside of assigned territory, potentially overnight.
Ability to drive approximately 25-50% of the time within assigned territory, potentially requiring overnight travel.
Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy.
Ability to freely move throughout the facility.
Ability to use a phone, keyboard, and mouse.
Visually able to interact with personal computers.
Ability to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day.
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree satisfying the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment (for roles below Principal level).

$120,000.00 - $125,000.00 (Base Salary, U.S. excl. PR)
