About the Role
This role is critical for WoodMac Supply Chain Consulting's growth, focusing on building and maintaining client relationships. The Director will lead project teams to deliver insights, fostering new customer relationships, and acting as a conduit between project execution and management to support business development strategies.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the quality of all solutions delivered to energy clients, from analytics to presentations.
- Manage multiple client relationships, interfacing with C-Suite, Supply Chain, Project Management, Engineering, and Business Development teams.
- Collaborate on developing new solutions to meet client objectives and facilitate energy transition.
- Oversee and manage junior team members, driving successful project execution.
- Develop and maintain work plans, setting clear objectives and deliverables.
- Perform QA/QC of analyses and deliverables.
- Support management in business administration, including planning, recruiting, training, and performance development.
- Provide regular updates to management on project progress, revenue recognition, and profitability.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to sell additional consulting services and products, driving proposal development and collaborating with stakeholders to close deals.
Requirements
- 12+ years in a Consulting, Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering function.
- Experience within Power & Renewables and/or Oil & Gas sectors preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel 60-80% of the time.
