This role is part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for members and fellow employees.

Execute craft cocktails and continuously present new ideas to management.
Mix and serve drinks to patrons, directly or through waitstaff.
Greet all guests and members promptly, politely, and by name whenever possible.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and bar storage areas.
Execute cocktail recipes and follow recipes for syrups and house-made ingredients.
Enter all transactions into the point-of-sale system and issue accurate checks.
Display extensive knowledge of all beverages, ingredients, and food pairings.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of wine and make recommendations from the club wine list.
Respond to guest needs with a sense of urgency during all interactions.

12 months of front-of-house experience in high-volume restaurants, resorts, or private clubs.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts greater than eight hours.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
Ability to stand, walk, and move for a period greater than four hours.
Ability to lift, carry, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push, and pull.
Ability to lift and carry items sometimes greater than 50 pounds.
Successful completion of an employer-paid background check.
Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to stay calm and focused during busy periods.
