About the Role
The Alamo Production Crew, including service bartenders, is vital to the theater's operation. This role involves preparing drinks according to recipes, maintaining Alamo Drafthouse service and presentation standards, and ensuring prompt delivery. The production bar crew is responsible for daily station setup, prep, and upholding high health and safety standards by maintaining a clean bar area. Teamwork is essential to provide guests with an awesome culinary experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare guest drink orders according to recipes and specifications.
- Clean, organize, and maintain all assigned equipment, including deep cleaning tasks and daily sidework checklists.
- Prepare guest beverage tickets following approved operational processes, focusing on safety, quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Restock supplies, complete prep and sidework, and assist with additional operational tasks for efficient service.
- Support the delivery and organization of food and beverage orders as needed.
- Uphold company Core Values and Operational Guidelines.
- Ensure beverage safety and compliance with company and local health standards, including allergy and cross-contamination protocols.
- Utilize proper equipment for all beverage order preparation.
- Adhere to standard cleaning, prep, and stocking schedules to control product waste, production, and maintain food quality.
- Communicate service bar needs, concerns, and urgent matters to teammates and managers regularly.
- Maintain a positive, respectful workplace.
- Follow all handwashing and hygiene practices.
Requirements
- Meet minimum legal age of 21 to serve or handle alcohol.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly during shift.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays (minimum 3 days per week, including one weekend day).
- Ability to move cautiously and operate in a busy, loud environment.
- Stay updated on local beverage compliance regulations, safety courses, and assigned online trainings.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to climb stairs.
Skills
- 1+ years of experience in high volume restaurant environment.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen/bar environment.
- Applicable beverage knowledge, including state-required alcohol service training.
