About the Role
Join the Oncology Sales team to impact cancer patients, leveraging digital technologies and data analytics. This role involves engaging customers, educating key stakeholders about oncology products, communicating with the broader oncology community, and actively working to achieve or exceed assigned sales goals within your territory.
Responsibilities
- Attain or exceed assigned sales goals for the geography in collaboration with team members.
- Ensure a seamless customer experience, understand practice structures, business models, and key influencers, and build relationships to comprehend customer needs.
- Employ approved resources and messaging to communicate a patient-centered rationale for oncology products in their indicated uses.
- Possess knowledge of extended care teams, cancer staging, treatment options, pathways, and guidelines associated with different tumors/diseases.
- Analyze and identify trends in a complex buying environment, including multiple channels of drug distribution.
- Review and evaluate patterns for products purchased and prescribed.
- Comprehend complex accounts and local market interdependencies to proactively develop and execute short- and long-term plans.
- Ask insightful questions to understand customer priorities and needs for engaging and relevant conversations about the product portfolio.
- Ensure consistent customer experience across the company’s division and functional areas, sharing key learnings by collaborating with the in-scope customer team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of sales experience OR a high school diploma with at least 8 years of equivalent experience.
- Equivalent experience includes professional sales, healthcare/scientific field (oncology preferred), professional marketing, or military experience.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a vehicle.
- Ability to travel as required, including 10-15% overnight travel.
- Reside in or within a reasonable distance to the district.
- 2+ years of oncology field-based experience selling an oncology therapeutic to oncology customers (preferred).
- Oncology field sales or clinical oncology experience (preferred).
- Documented history of strong performance in a sales/marketing or oncology clinical role (preferred).
