About the Role

Support a family's nanny team in caring for a 3-year-old son and 1-year-old daughter. This year-round retainer position provides coverage for primary nannies, working up to 12 weeks annually on a 7-days on/7-days off, 7am-7pm (or 6:30am-7pm for infant care) live-out schedule. Requires availability for planned and occasional last-minute coverage. The family maintains a fully staffed home and values warm, personable professionals who uphold boundaries.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, attentive care
Step seamlessly into the established routine and maintain consistency of care
Plan and engage in age-appropriate, developmentally supportive activities
Take children on walks, supervise outings, and support developmental milestones
Prepare children’s meals and snacks
Assist with child-related light housekeeping, including laundry, sanitizing toys, and keeping play and bedroom spaces tidy
Collaborate professionally with the household team

Requirements

Toddler experience with at least three verifiable references
Available to work Christmas 2026 and every other year thereafter
Up to date on vaccinations or willing to update prior to start
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
TrustLine certified (or willing to obtain)
Valid passport; willing to travel domestically and internationally
Valid driver’s license
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Live within a two-hour drive of Woodside, CA
