About the Role
Supports international litigation for a major social media client, focusing on data protection, defamation, hosting provider liability, privacy, and censorship laws. Responsible for first-level review, processing, tracking, and implementing strategy for new cases, preparing case summaries, tracking litigation statistics, maintaining matter databases, and contributing to technology and process development for global litigation management.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal team support, including complex document preparation and analysis.
- Assist with complex tasks, assignments, and matters for the legal practice.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver legal services.
- Support preparation and distribution of matter materials.
- Review and summarize new daily matters.
- Develop expert knowledge of matter flow.
- Track matter flow and maintain case files.
- Create and maintain databases, charts, graphs, and tables for data analysis.
- Utilize litigation support, spreadsheet, and database software for client projects.
- Prepare daily time entries.
- Maintain understanding of matter principles, practices, and procedures.
- Train new team members and serve as an informal resource.
