About the Role

Investigate and confirm facts of loss for complex automobile accidents. Determine coverage, liability, and damages, then adjust and negotiate claims within authority limits. Mentor junior employees and manage complex injury claims, including fractures, bilateral fractures, and fatalities.

Responsibilities

  • Recognize and identify vehicle body parts or other potential property damage.
  • Identify and meet customer needs using appropriate customer service skills.
  • Determine subrogation or fraud potential for the most complex cases.
  • Apply advanced understanding of company insurance policies, industry, and organizational relationships.
  • Recommend process improvements.
  • Apply increased experience in a Senior Adjuster role or specialty position (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, Initial Handler, Extended Handler, Litigation).
  • Review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex/catastrophic injury claims.
  • Handle investigation regarding all aspects of the most complex auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with discretion and independence.

Salary/Compensations

  • Adjuster Cons II: $56,000 - $82,500
  • Adjuster Sr Cons I: $68,500 - $104,100
  • Adjuster Sr Cons II: $68,500 - $105,140
  • Total compensation includes base compensation plus incentive pay (commission, bonus) if applicable.
