About the Role
Inspire customers to express themselves in their home. Facilitate a seamless shopping experience by assisting customers and completing sales at the cash wrap. Promote continued customer engagement with the Brand.
Responsibilities
- Utilize design expertise to assist clients in one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home to drive sales.
- Conduct productive in-home consultations, including accurate measurement and assessment of client living spaces.
- Create and present design plans based on client needs, style, preferences, and living space.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to achieve and exceed sales and productivity goals.
- Provide world-class service for special services: gift wrap, gift registry, merchandise location, catalog/internet orders, special orders, back orders, charge sends, courier deliveries, and furniture orders.
- Demonstrate superior product knowledge of the entire design studio assortment.
Requirements
- Strong communication, clienteling, and customer follow-up skills.
- Ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders across various sales channels.
- Experience with elements of design (preferred).
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience (specialty retail preferred).
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 75 lbs using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
- Full-time associates must have open availability to meet business needs.
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available for a minimum of two weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) and two weekday shifts (Monday to Thursday).
