About the Role
Docebo is seeking a Senior Events Specialist for a 14-month contract to plan and execute North American tradeshows and events. This role involves acting as a brand visionary, designing experiences that generate pipeline, and supporting major company events. The specialist will leverage AI-powered tools to enhance event planning and demonstrate the ROI of experiential marketing.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning, strategy, briefing, venue selection, and execution for North America tradeshows and exhibitions.
- Support the operational delivery of premier corporate events, including Inspire, RKO, and PKO.
- Manage vendor, sponsor, and internal stakeholder relationships for seamless coordination.
- Lead on-site event activities, including guest registration, speaker coordination, and troubleshooting.
- Leverage industry software such as Asana, Google Workspace, CVENT, and Salesforce for project management.
- Design memorable, on-brand event activations to captivate attendees.
- Utilize AI-powered tools and workflows to automate tasks and improve efficiency in event planning.
- Oversee logistics including transportation, lodging, catering, and equipment.
- Build budgets and negotiate vendor contracts.
- Track, analyze, and deliver event performance metrics to demonstrate ROI and link event success to revenue pipeline.
Requirements
- 5+ years of corporate event management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, tech, or global organizations.
- Portfolio demonstrating successful management of large-scale tradeshows, conferences, and flagship internal events.
- Proficiency in project management tools like Asana, CVENT, Salesforce, Google Workspace, and Slack.
- Experience using AI tools to streamline project management, draft briefs, and optimize operational efficiency.
- Ability to maintain an organized and calm demeanor while juggling priorities and collaborating across global teams.
- Strong commercial mindset with expertise in vendor sourcing, contract negotiations, and budget management.
- Flexibility to travel up to 30% annually, including evenings and weekends.
