About the Role

This role is based in Lane Cove West with onsite parking. Candidates must be Australian Citizens and able to apply for an NV1 security clearance. Both full-time and casual positions are available, featuring rotating rosters with 12-hour shifts. Compensation includes Level 5 SSIA, a First Aid Allowance, and an annual bonus capped at $7,000.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and uphold, deter and/or report any policy violations.
• Report malfunctioning equipment.
• Report Hazards, Risks and Incidents.
• Report or respond to any Alarms, suspicious activity & emergencies.
• Enforce Safety requirements.
• Ensure doors are properly secured.
• Assist with the escorts of contractors, visitors, or others as assigned.
• Conduct internal and external patrols of the building and perimeter, including all amenities.
• Relieve each post for their assigned break time.
• Respond to directions requested by the Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen.
• Must be able to apply for an NV1 security clearance.
• NV1 security clearance highly preferred.
• Ability to obtain an NV1 security clearance.
• 24/7 availability across multiple locations.
• Previous experience in a high-security environment is not essential, as training will be provided.
• A valid NSW security licence.
• A valid first aid/CPR certificate.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good understanding of Tech/computers and access control systems (issuing passes).
• Ability to be cross-trained across multiple sites.
• Ability to be well-presented at all times.
