About the Role

Perimeter Medical Imaging AI is seeking a Toronto-based intern for a high-impact, 4-month in-office project. The mission involves automated clinical workflow integration and AI-driven tissue tracking for intraoperative optical imaging, focusing on building a proof-of-feasibility prototype from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the setup-scan-decision workflow to identify and eliminate friction points.
  • Explore camera-based object detection and pose estimation techniques.
  • Integrate tracking signals and AI outputs into a user-friendly frontend concept.
  • Develop a tangible, working proof-of-feasibility prototype.
