About the Role
We are seeking an Accountant to join our team. This role is responsible for ascertaining the integrity of accounting records for the purpose of compiling, reconciling, reporting, adjusting, computing, and/or reclassifying accounting and operational information. The position will work with and report information to senior leaders. Incumbents in this position are assigned to various assignments and responsible for familiarity with operations, financial statements, general ledger, income journal, A/P, Payroll, A/R, and cash controls.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of organizing and preparing file, documents and records related to cash and cash equivalents on a daily basis.
- Prepare daily deposit in accordance with established cash handling procedures.
- Verify figures, posting, and documents to ensure they are accurately posted in financial system.
- Prepare, review, and reconcile vendor invoices, account statements, and process invoices for payment through financial system.
- Ensure timely billing and collections of all Accounts Receivable accounts.
- Follow-up on collections efforts on a timely basis and provide A/R updates to senior leadership.
- Assist with daily and month-end journal entries of revenue to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles.
