About the Role
Ventri Door Technologies is committed to providing customers with the highest quality products and services, beginning with hiring the best people. This field-based role involves working on automatic doors, access control systems, and automated gates, delivering quality installations and expert repairs for clients across the London region.
Responsibilities
- Installation and service repair work on automated gates and access control systems
- Installation and service repair work on automatic door systems
- Foster and maintain positive working relationships with customers
- Read manuals and use correct resources to perform repairs for various brands of doors and gates
- Maintain inventory on company service vehicle
- Monitor vehicle for potential service issues and promptly report concerns to management
- Work efficiently in small teams to complete daily tasks
- Rotate afterhours phone and respond to emergency calls
- Remain in contact with the Service Administrator throughout the day
- Assist Project Manager with other duties and responsibilities
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience installing or servicing automatic entry doors or related systems
- Valid G class driver's license
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills
- Able to work independently and in small teams
- Comfortable with occasional on-call shifts (shared rotation)
