About the Role
This senior role offers the opportunity to shape brand perception, drive growth by aligning customer desires, business capabilities, and market trends, and translate these into effective marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead brand strategy and guardianship, setting principles for brand presentation across all customer touchpoints.
- Develop and manage year-round marketing, campaigns, creative, and content initiatives, enhancing the in-house content and creative engine.
- Own organic social strategy, influencer marketing, PR, and partnerships to grow relevance and demand.
- Lead paid acquisition and demand generation strategies in collaboration with internal specialists and external partners.
- Influence product, proposition, and experience decisions with a brand and customer-centric perspective.
- Drive commercial growth and non-ticket revenue streams through brand, content, and channel activities.
- Lead, focus, and develop a 12-person Brand & Marketing team, fostering a culture of pace, creativity, and accountability.
- Contribute to strategic discussions as a senior leader, providing clear recommendations on brand, customer, product, trading, and growth.
Requirements
- Senior brand marketing leadership experience in a consumer-facing business.
- Strong track record in always-on marketing, campaigns, creative, and content.
- Experience leading or influencing organic social, PR, influencer, partnerships, and earned media.
- Solid understanding of paid acquisition, performance marketing, digital, CRM, e-commerce, and SEO/GEO.
- Experience leading and developing internal teams and managing external partners.
- Ability to influence product, proposition, and customer experience decisions.
- Strong commercial awareness and constructive challenging ability.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual judgment.
- Experience in leisure, hospitality, travel, tourism, entertainment, attractions, sports, active lifestyle, retail, subscription, family, youth, outdoor or other experience-led consumer brands.
- Multi-site or location-led experience.
- Seasonal trading experience.
- Experience with merchandise, branded environments, or physical touchpoints.
- Experience with B2B, groups, or corporate alongside B2C.
- Experience in entrepreneurial, founder-led, or purpose-driven environments.
