About the Role
As an Account Manager at IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients, and health & biosciences, you will support sales growth initiatives and serve as a trusted advisor to customers. This role is crucial for driving sustainable innovations and elevating everyday products.
Responsibilities
- Support building knowledge of specific market, customer environment, and customer activities, strategies, brands, markets, and consumers.
- Drive sustainable profitable sales and market share growth by identifying customer needs, opportunities, and risks.
- Build long-term customer relationships and deliver solutions aligned with corporate strategy.
- Develop an understanding of customer decision-making criteria.
- Collaborate with colleagues to understand customer regulatory requirements and changes.
- Lead strategic commercial negotiations, including annual pricing, payment terms, rebate/cost savings, and supply agreements.
- Communicate account plans and engage with internal stakeholders.
- Manage reactive and proactive customer projects pipelines, including country and consumer studies.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Fragrance industry.
- Experience working with international, cross-cultural, and cross-functional teams.
