About the Role
The Account Coordinator provides analytical support and insights to the Ice Cream CBD teams in Canada, focusing on Sobeys and Metro customers and retailers. This role is responsible for analyzing business information, identifying opportunities or potential problems, and supporting customer management.
Responsibilities
- Draw observations and deliver trends & insights related to a Customer and category using diverse data sources including Customer Sales, AC Nielsen, Shipment information, competitive market activity, and internal planning sources.
- Execute and maintain reports/systems for performance, planning, forecasting, and trends to aid in analyzing Unilever’s and our customers’ performance.
- Leverage data and visualization tools to aid in decision making and illustrate insights and recommendations from data when presented with a business problem.
- Help maximize efficiencies in data usage for reporting and decision-making.
- Provide metrics around historical promotional activity.
- Assist in the preparation of reporting for business reviews and Joint Business Planning for the Customer.
- Deliver analytic insights to help the team decide optimal assortment recommendations for planograms, POS, and execution.
- Create and manage Field priorities to drive action in-store with the Retail Team.
- Handle ad hoc analytic requests from different areas of the business including Brand and Trade.
- Collaborate with teams within Unilever and the customer to share best practice analysis.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required.
- Previous analytical experience is an asset.
- Personal leadership and owner's mindset.
- Self-motivated, service-minded, solution-focused attitude.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
- Strong analytical skills – ability to leverage technology & tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, Power BI or Data visualization to move from observation to insight.
- Experience with some of these tools is an asset.
- Curious in nature and constantly seeking to learn.
- Works well in teams, with significant exposure to cross-functional teams.
