About the Role

Republic Finance is seeking Interns for our Branch Operations program. This internship offers the opportunity to learn the daily functions and operations of a branch, interact with team members and leaders, and gain real-world experience in sales, customer service, compliance, loan closing, and leadership training. The program aims to expand on college concepts and introduce interns to a potential long-term career path with Republic Finance.

Responsibilities

Become licensed and complete an accelerated Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and regulatory training.
Assist in daily loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings.
Learn about responsibilities at Manager and Regional Vice President levels to understand career potential.
Attend regional meetings and/or workshops to gain exposure to the Branch Operations division.
Learn about Branch Operations process improvement related projects.
Learn about corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are often desired (Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting, etc.).

Requirements

Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
Eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing.
