About the Role
VIP AUTOMOTIVE GROUP is hiring a full-time Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Parts Warehouse Associate for their Hicksville location. This role supports daily warehouse and automotive parts department operations by ensuring accurate shipping, receiving, inventory organization, and parts handling.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming automotive parts shipments
- Compare shipments to invoices and bills of lading
- Prepare outgoing shipments and package items securely
- Label and organize shipments accurately
- Route incoming inventory to the appropriate departments
- Maintain warehouse organization and inventory accuracy
- Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and warehouse equipment as needed
- Process damaged, returned, or unsold parts
- Pick up and deliver automotive parts from wholesale warehouses
- Maintain stock levels and ensure proper storage procedures
- Assist with general warehouse and parts department operations
Requirements
- Previous automotive dealership experience preferred
- Shipping & receiving or warehouse experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated
- Ability to lift and move automotive parts and materials
- Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
- Desire to learn and grow within the automotive industry
