About the Role
This role focuses on building and nurturing long-term relationships with advisory firms, ensuring they have access to RJWM's comprehensive solutions. You will act as the trusted voice for RJWM in your region, leading strategic discussions, identifying growth opportunities, and providing essential support and insights to partners.
Responsibilities
- Drive growth by achieving revenue and AUM targets through strong partnerships.
- Develop a regional strategy aligned with RJWM's priorities and focused on high-potential advisory firms.
- Lead engagement with key clients, positioning RJWM as a trusted long-term partner.
- Utilize market insight and competitor analysis to shape propositions meeting evolving client needs.
- Influence decision-makers across your portfolio to build secure, strategic relationships.
- Collaborate with Asset Management, Investment Management, Marketing, and Product teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Champion RJWM's brand and contribute to thought leadership in wealth management.
- Track progress and support leadership decisions using CRM and analytics.
- Mentor the Sales Executive to foster a proactive, client-focused culture.
- Gather intelligence on client needs, market trends, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
- Provide structured feedback to Head Office to support product development, marketing, and business initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in strategic business development within financial services.
- Strong track record of building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-suite leaders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and confidently.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across teams and functions.
Skills
- Exceptional strategic thinking and influencing skills.
- Ability to navigate complex client structures and deliver tailored solutions.
- Broad knowledge of Discretionary Fund Management products.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate strategy into action.
- Leadership qualities supporting cross-functional initiatives and positive team culture.
Education Level
- Professional qualifications such as IMC (or equivalent) are welcome but not essential.
