About the Role
The Staff Technical Project Manager provides leadership to ensure the steady execution of client-facing consulting, program design, and operational transformation projects for major healthcare institutions in Japan, working closely with a team of project managers, analysts, and data integrators.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business, functional partners, and technology leadership to specify requirements
- Drive technology discussion and strategy aligned with business needs
- Define execution plans based on project scope, timelines, and budget
- Facilitate the convergence of functional and technical knowledge
- Coordinate day-to-day execution with cross-functional technical teams
- Manage external vendors as required
- Ensure adherence to project management processes and drive improvements
- Resolve project roadblocks and manage interdependencies
- Manage project risks, scope changes, and non-standard events
- Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting
- Verify quality of deliverables against stakeholder expectations
- Track project outcomes and customer satisfaction metrics
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese (verbal and written)
- Ability to coach and mentor others
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
