About the Role
As Kraken’s Global Practice Lead for Operating Model, you will build and lead a global delivery practice that owns and evolves Kraken’s enterprise Operating Model blueprint. You are the ultimate subject matter expert on how high-performing, product-led, data-enabled businesses operate at scale. This role has global responsibility across APAC, Europe and North America and directly manages all Senior Client Delivery Leads for Operating Model.
Responsibilities
- Develop & lead Kraken’s strategy for client Operating Model transformation, focused on aligning operations, product, technology and data to drive enterprise performance.
- Define the design principles and blueprint for Kraken’s Operating Model across structure, governance, accountability, decision-making and performance management.
- Create proven, repeatable models for reducing cost to serve, improving productivity, increasing decision velocity and strengthening cross-functional alignment — generating potential IP and future revenue opportunities for Kraken.
- Create concrete workstream activities, milestones and deliverables for the Operating Model workstream, embedded alongside every Kraken migration.
- Hire and build out a team of experts that deliver the Operating Model blueprint to clients while continuously improving the model and reducing time to transformation.
- Inspire and influence senior executives at Kraken clients around structural and organisational change.
- Inspire and mobilise teams across Kraken, particularly within Human Design, Tech Delivery, Client Success and Product.
- Identify recurring structural and operating challenges across transformations and mobilise solutions to solve them at scale.
- Act as the senior Operating Model expert in Sales presentations and guide enterprise transformation conversations.
- Act as the go-to expert for Transformation Directors when they need Operating Model practice expertise.
- Build and manage consistent, global training content for CDLs within Operating.
- Collaborate with Kraken’s Product and Engineering teams to ensure organisational design and operating structures fully leverage Kraken’s technology.
- Embody the Kraken culture and ways of working.
Requirements
- Deep experience leading and operating within highly cross-functional organisations — aligning operations, product, technology and data around shared outcomes.
- Hands-on leadership in fast-paced, high-growth or high-change environments where clarity, speed and resilience are critical.
- A strong point of view on how high-performing businesses operate — including decision-making, performance management, governance and cross-functional alignment.
- Experience embedding new operating behaviours and building leadership capability, not just redesigning structures.
- The credibility to advise at C-suite level while also rolling up your sleeves and guiding teams through practical implementation.
- The ability to codify experience into scalable frameworks, training and practical playbooks.
- Experience in utilities, energy or similarly complex, regulated sectors.
- Applicants must have the right to work in the country that they're applying to, at the time of application.
- Provide CV in English.
Benefits
- Kraken is a certified Great Place to Work in France, Germany, Spain, Japan, Australia, and USA.
- In the UK we are one of the Best Workplaces on Glassdoor with a score of 4.5.
