About the Role
As our brand-new Meeting & Events Intern, you will support in driving commercial results for all revenue streams and coordinate Meeting & Event bookings for our Berlin location. You will sell meeting rooms, hotel rooms, and restaurant services, aiming to ensure guest return through exceptional TSH guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist with answering questions and making bookings for Commercial Partnerships via telephone, third parties, and email.
- Help develop customer accounts to drive business into TSH Berlin and increase market/customer share across all revenue streams.
- Work within current business strategies and recognize potential opportunities.
- Prepare, update, and file all correspondence.
- Prepare the meeting & events functions sheet with completed final and accurate details for the banqueting department.
- Host meetings with the banqueting department/stakeholders.
- Maintain an effective follow-up system to secure business and provide after-sales service for repeat business.
- Assist Finance with invoicing and payments.
- Compile statistics and reporting for cluster management and commercial teams.
- Support the creation and rollout of the local commercial strategy.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in university.
- Studying within the EU.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Highly organized with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on mentality.
- Sales driven and commercially savvy.
- Cross and upselling is a second nature.
