About the Role

Senior Manager, AL Marketing will prepare CAEL-101 (anselamimab) for launch in AL amyloidosis by planning and executing commercial launch tactics according to marketing and go-to-market strategies. This role requires close collaboration with AD, AL Marketing, other business unit members, Medical, and Business Excellence, reporting to the Marketing Director, Amyloidosis.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of cross-functional disease area and asset strategy.
  • Lead the planning and execution of assigned marketing tactics (e.g. promotional material, digital contents, etc.) to achieve revenue targets.
  • Engage KEEs and cultivate productive working relationships.
  • Partner with KEEs on relevant marketing programs in collaboration with AD, AL Marketing, KCLs and Sales.
  • Monitor and analyze relevant indicators of brand performance.
  • Leverage learnings and insights to optimize marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Define relevant leading and lagging performance indicators.
  • Evaluate ongoing performance and brand health.
  • Understand market and customer dynamics behind the performance to guide the brand.
  • Collaborate with Sales for rollout of marketing tactics.
  • Gain voice of the field and customers to optimize marketing programs.

Requirements

  • ≥5 years of biopharmaceutical commercial experience in Japan
  • Experience in sales and/or other direct customer-facing roles
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and mobilize the field sales organization to achieve brand objectives
  • Ability to collaborate broadly and cross-functionally
  • Intellectual curiosity and growth mindset
  • Comfort with change and ambiguity
  • Strong engagement, communication, and relational skills
  • Passion for making a positive contribution to the rare disease community
  • Bachelor’s degree in science or other relevant areas
  • Fluency in Japanese, proficiency in English

  • Ability to translate patient needs and scientific data into commercial strategy
