About the Role
As a Personal Training Manager, you will lead from the front, developing talented Personal Trainers, building a strong coaching culture, and helping members achieve their goals. You will recruit, train, and mentor new PTs, guiding them to build successful personal training businesses within the club. Your leadership will sharpen trainer skills, build confidence, and enhance member coaching experiences, ultimately shaping team performance and culture while driving commercial outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Attract and recruit Personal Trainers with the right experience and cultural fit.
- Develop team skills through coaching, motivation, and leading by example.
- Guide and mentor the team on business management practices to grow client bases.
- Implement and manage national fitness projects within the club.
- Oversee budgeted targets, financial administration, and reporting.
- Collaborate with the Club Management team and Regional Performance Manager.
Requirements
- Successful completion of Certificate IV in Fitness or above.
- AUSactive/Fitrec registration.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current Working with Children check.
- Minimum 2+ years of industry-related experience and/or managing a personal training business.
- Strong understanding of the fitness industry with a passion for health and fitness.
- Proven track record as an accomplished Personal Trainer with a loyal client base.
- Excellent communication skills to lead, motivate, and drive a team.
- Proactive approach to attracting new PTs.
- Confidence to work autonomously and proactively engage with members.
